Agreed. This cheapens the Medal of Freedom. Not as bad as Obama and the Nobel Peach Prize but smells faintly similar.

Yeah like Palmer got it in 2004 , and Nicklaus got it in 2005. Tiger beat Palmers Master record and is 1 behind Nicklaus. The guy no matter his faults will go down as one of the greatest golfers in history.

Our last POTUS awarded so many deserving of no such thing, the luster has dulled on the prize. Awards mean absolutely nothing unless they were absolutely EARNED and not given.
