Why is the Trump administration punishing Assange for revealing the truth about Hillary?

>>>Why is the Trump administration punishing Assange for revealing the truth about Hillary?<<<

I’d wait to see if the Justice department offers him immunity to spill the beans on Hellary before assuming Trump is punishing him.

I don’t think it’s him, by a long shot. But, they’ve painted him into a corner with all the other stuff that if he were to intervene, God forbid, pardon Assange, they’d be on him like a fat kid on cake.

While I’m no fan of Dershowitz and think that most of what he’s been doing the last two years is, more about covering his own ass, he did say that what Assange has been accused of doing is no different than what the NY Times, et al, has done. I do have to agree with. If they’re going after him, then they should also be going after Comey and his buddy at NYU, among others.

Actually, there are two prongs to the Assange story. One involves the hacking of the Department of Defense using passwords provided by “Chelsea” Manning, while still a member of the US Army. Assange may be able to trade what he knows about Herself for leniency on this charge.

And how he got it. He claims no Russians were involved, he got it directly from John Podesta. This may be even more damning than anything else so far.
