What is ‘stop n shop’? A party store? A dollar store?
It’s a major grocery store in Massachusetts. Maybe other states too I do not know.
It’s the type of place I would shop although I do a lot of shopping at market basket, another huge grocery chain. But MB has even better prices than S&S.
Just two weeks ago I bought 11 servings of meat for 24.00. Granted I needed to cut some of the pieces to smaller sizes but it was well worth it. All good sized portions, too.
Asking your average person around here not to go to S&S is nuts.
Only remaining unionized chain grocery store in CT, MA, RI and parts of NJ/NY.
Its a big grocery store chain in New England, certainly in Massachusetts where I live.
It's a large supermarket chain.I'm not sure exactly how big but I think they pretty much cover the Northeast.
