That prompted Ocasio-Cortez to defend her Minnesota ally, going after the Texas congressman for not co-sponsoring the 9/11 Victim’s Compensation Fund.I thought that I read somewhere that the way that the 9/11 Victims' Compensation Fund was written would have allowed for the families of the terrorists to file for compensation. If that's true, nobody should be supporting it!

AOC’s reference is apparently the anti-defamation league which states that right wing terrorism killed at least 50 people in the US in 2018. They include the parkland shooter as a right wing terrorist (dubious in my opinion) and also the guy who shot up the yoga school and the Pittsburg synagogue shooter both of whom are not really right wing but more like confused nut jobs.

I hear reports that the behind-closed-doors House Democrat caucus meetings are a real shoutfest. Moderates are afraid to speak up because the Cortez wing of the party shouts down anybody who disagrees with them.
Pelosi has lost control of her left flank. It will take some resolve by the moderate House Democrats who won in purple states to stand up for themselves against the liberal wing and start shouting back.
My advice to them (like Houston's Lizzie Fletcher is to form a strategy where each of you designates one leftist socialist to pair against, and whenever one of them speaks out on something, the moderate pair counters it and calls them out.
Start pushing back, or you will be pushed aside.
