President Obama's former White House counsel Gregory Craig was indicted on Thursday for concealing information and making false statements to federal authorities in an investigation stemming from special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into the 2016 election.

Details: Craig, who also served in the President Bill Clinton’s administration, is facing up to 5 years in prison for allegedly lying about his work with former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort for the Russia-aligned government of Ukraine. The investigation of Craig is part of a larger crack down on foreign lobbying by the Department of Justice's Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) unit.

Told ya! Regrettably I have forgotten who I argued with, but I said he'll get indicted and was offered a bridge for a good price. Now I should get this bridge for free!

Let the games begin.

As Howie said today, “The sky is dark with chickens coming home to roost.”

All well and good but do spinless repubs have a place for them too roost ???

If there is any justice in this world, next up would be the Podesta Group for their Ukraine work.

If there’s ever been a pure evil POS who deserved this Hell it’s Craig, who happily participated in the Witch’s kidnapping of Elian Gonzales.

Mueller's probe didn't indict Craig, and the investigation stemming from special counsel Robert Mueller's probe that did indict Craig is now under the control of a new sheriff, Bill Barr.

Good for you! You won one against a FR cynic - of which I am one, unfortunately.

I think of Elian and I think the wheels of justice grind slowly but exceedingly fine!

Over at DU they are claiming he wasn’t working for obama and was working for the lawfirm that Manafort (friend of Trump) hired.

But they fail to realize:

That’s teh same crap about manafort. This had nothing to do with Russian collusion and has no ties to Trump. In fact, it’s closer to Obama because guess who was President when this was happening? Obama.

Craig wasn’t covered by the conflict of interest so his case was given to local prosecutors.

My point is about the timing, Manfort’s indictment vs. Craig’s.

Both Manafort and Craig are bad people and should pay for their crimes. Their ties to either president shouldn’t play a role in this justice.
