Member since I think 2006. Never been a problem. Since you are former law enforcement, you think the autistic guy who killed all those children at the Sandy Hook elementary school should have had all those weapons? Family lives there so it hits close to home.

The kid at sandy hook stole those weapons from his mom AFTER killing her. He was not lawfully in possession of said weapons. I am for responsible gun ownership which includes proper safe storage of weapons. Which is completely moot if somebody is willing to kill you to get them. Mom bought the weapons and was thus responsible for their storage. Mom failed, and she would’ve paid for it if sonny boy hadn’t killed her.
