Fourteen states have now adopted these laws. Nine states adopted these laws last year after Parkland. Colorado will be the second state this year to adopt the law. U.S. Sens. Dianne Feinstein, California Democrat, and Marco Rubio, Florida Republican, have similar laws that they are pushing.

But....but....nobody wants your guns!! BTW, I don’t care what anyone says, when a complaint is made against you in front of a judge and you can’t defend yourself then your guns are confiscated and you have to spend up to a year getting your property back-—that is NOT due process.

They are unconstitutional. I suspect a case will eventually end up in the SCOTUS.

There may be cases where a person’s guns can be confiscated without a conviction, but the bar is still quite high. A neighbor saying they are scared of you is not enough.

"We went to trumps luncheon at the xxxxxxxx today. No press allowed, but they were outside anyway. Our friend xxxxxx held a small meeting with the president prior to the lunch. Trump asked them about their concerns and heard things he had never heard before, and asked those present if they would be ok letting the press in to hear it. I bet you will hear a lot more about this. Breitbart Texas on the web is the only outlet covering violence on the border. I look at it every morning to see what’s happening. You should too, and you will know why we are never unarmed. Border Patrol is now picking up groups of a hundred or more daily in the big bend area."

If you watch the YouTube video, you will see where and why guns are a 24/7 necessity.

Especially when the ones making the complaint can include the police.

ah, ok. I could not watch at the moment. will check it out. I really hope the President ignores any pressure to enact red flag laws. Even saying he would consider them would bring disastrous consequences.

Red Flag laws are the definitive foot in the door for general gun confiscation. The neighborhood Crazy Lady that used to live down the street would have been calling the police daily saying she was scared because this neighbor or that one had a gun and she just knew he/she would kill her. She used to walk the neighborhood with her daughter sending daughter up to fences to open gates and let dogs out. She would then go home and call police about dogs being out. She got Animal control out to investigate loose squirrels being “sent” into her yard by neighbors. She would have made prolific use of a Red Flag Law.

Debbie eventually wound up institutionalized and her house sat empty for sale for a couple of years because she had lived without utilities and it smelled pretty bad. Finally it got fumigated, all painted, and sold and the next occupant was/is another mad woman. The place is cursed.
