The Brits still want him on the bail jumping charge, but there’s some indication that there’s a sealed indictment on him from the Obama DOJ from a few years back... which is why he stayed in the embassy for 7 years.

Lots of others were there the past several days since Wikileaks was given the heads up that Ecuador was finally going to revoke his asylum status. They also claim that Ecuador tried to sell him to the US over a year ago (and Manafort was supposedly involved as a broker).

Lots of pressure had been put on Ecuador by State Dept. in the last couple years... probably older deep state folks embedded in State.

It's going to be like a Clancy novel seeing how this one turns out.
