Subject: Travel Pool Report 11/Houston arrival
The motorcade arrived at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Houston at 5:15.
The pool did not see President Trump enter the building, where he is scheduled to hold a roundtable with supporters and dinner fundraiser.
We drove past Air Force One on our way to the venue, which is very close to the runway of Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base.
Subject: Travel Pool Report 12/Departing Houston
The motorcade left the Lone Star Flight Museum in Houston at 7:05. After a very short drive, we reached Air Force One. President Trump boarded at 7:10, and we should be taking off soon.
The White House said the just-completed fundraiser was to benefit Houston for Trump Victory, “a joint fundraising committee authorized by and composed of Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. and the Republican National Committee.”
The pool has requested and not yet received the names of people who spoke at Trump’s impromptu press conference in San Antonio. Apologies to those unable to match names to quotes.
At the request of the White House, I’m sending the names of two Energy Department officials and three union leaders who were expected to attend the Crosby executive order event:
