He’s just trying to distract the public from Mueller’s damning report that his pet AG tried to cover up with help from Russian Bots and troll farms. He better not deport any celebrities’ gardeners, pool boys and nannies because of his racist tweets, least of all not before the 2020 elections so their voices can be heard./s

C’mon man... have you not seen the walls (term used very loosely) that they are replacing??????

Replacing a snow fence with a 30 ft steel “barrier” IS a NEW wall.

Replacing anti vehicle (anti tank) barriers, that people can pass through faster than a turnstile, with a 30 ft steel “barrier” IS a NEW wall.

It’s just gubmit spending semantics. New vs repair. Lots of money appropriated for “repair” and Trump has been spending that.

Building, oops I mean repairing old walls/fences by tearing them out completely and putting in their places a brand NEW, oops I mean replacement WALL, oops I mean barrier.

Semantics.

"have you not seen the walls that they are replacing?"

Here is an example from Calexico, Ca. New bollards on the left, old landing mat on the right. The landing mat has no foundation, and local kids can scrape away enough dirt to squirm under in just a few minutes.

11 more miles of new 30 foot bollards will be replacing the landing mat in this photo, starting in the next couple of months.

The new replacing the old.

With this better barrier, comes better road for faster response, stadium lighting, permanent 24 x 7 full surveillance by mast mounted day/night cameras, sensor/alarm systems - and in this instance, reputedly a secret anti-climb active system of some sort.

I certainly hope Trump’s edict to stop the money flow from illegal alien invaders back to Mexico

He's gonna face opposition from those who make money handling the transfers, as in [WalMart]:
