The MSM keeps mentioning that Biden comes from a different time where hugging and kissing was more acceptable. I have never heard of this age group being particularly inclined to hug and kiss strangers...

I agree with you, it was never acceptable among polite and respectful people. What the MSM is disingenuously trying to cover up was the time before #MeToo (the "Sexual Revolution" only exascerbated the problem) when predators were more able—and therefore more likely—to get away with it.
