If Trump lost, the plan was to put him, his family, his staff and other opposition in jail using the fake narrative. It was to be used once he lost.

That’s ridiculous. The ‘insurance policy’ was launched in the Oval Office in December 2016 when Zero commissioned his ‘investigation’. ‘They’ needed all of November to get their ducks in a row. Zero’s ‘report’ was presented to Trump in January and at that meeting Comey introduced Trump to the sordid details of the ‘dossier’; the ball was in-play. That 2-year game is now over. ‘Game’ is apt for reasons I will not elaborate here.
