We had an ‘incident’ last fall when three vehicles put spotlights on our home (very rural area) and our neighbor’s home 250 yds away. Both of us unleashed dozens of rounds into our woods. One car turned around and sped out of the area, but the other two continued up the private, posted road.
We blocked the exit with my truck and it wasn’t until they came down the hill and saw they couldn’t get out that they turned their blue lights on. Two Sheriff’s deputies, operating in violation of State law. The one that ran away was a State trooper.
Told their boss if it ever happens again, our response will be identical, except you’ll never see us and I won’t unlock the gate.
Sounds like Ruby Ridge.
If they were smart they’d just use the phone or ask you to stop by the station or talk to you when they see you shopping at the grocery.
Sounds like the violated your 4th amendment rights.
They should be prosecuted for trespassing without a warrent.
