My friend’s father was Stasi, and spy for the Russians in the Stasi. He has since died. I spent some time with him in Germany prior to his death... Sure gave me a different perspective on history.
He was on a Panzer tank crew in Hitler’s Army and was captured by the Russians in 1945, sent to Siberia as a prisoner of war until 1952. He befriended the Russians and they sent him back to be in the Stasi as their link.
