I want Bossy B_tch removal. It doesn’t require 130 hours to flush one out and eradicate it.

What the heck is that? And what could be the possible justification for this overreach?

It thinks 1984 is a manual.

"The object of power is power. Now do you begin to understand me?”

Stupid cow.

People will just get out the Raid(tm) when they have a bee problem.

Her legislation will kill bees by the millions.

At what point will be no longer be allowed to kill a wasp nest?

Well, to be fair, criminalizing the killing of annoying, destructive pests with asses filled with toxin is actually self-preservation. Or professional courtesy.

Well Varroa mites came from Asia. The beasts made their way here thanks to introducing the Asian honey bee to America. Awesome, right? NOT! There are multiple types of treatments, but a cure is erradication of Varroa which ain’t happening :( Always new pests. Sucks. And if it’s invasive, it will find it’s way across the pond. No doubt.

I have a live and let live attitude towards honey bees. But Yellow Jackets I hate with the white hot intensity of 10,000 burning suns.

While I don't have an allergy to bee stings, I'm pretty much the same way. Love honey bees, because they are darn useful critters, and won't bother you unless you screw with them excessively. On the other hand Yellow Jackets and wasps are mean and aggressive. Do not like. I keep a can of toxins for them just in case.

Other critters I really like are geckos and lizards. They can hang out around my house all day long eating mosquitoes. Sometimes I'll have 20 or more at my back door getting fat from the bugs attracted by the light. Sadly, the cat doesn't listen to me when I tell him to leave them alone.

She does appear to have received multiple stings around the face neck area.

Follow the money. Someone who gives her large donations is set to benefit from licensing requirements and lack of competition.

There is no sure fire way to combat Varroa mites except to treat the hive early and often to lessen the impact to the hive.

So this season I have had to splits, not bad considering all the rain and cold weather.

Just as I suspected, her district is in South Irving, and extends down south, into Grand Prairie and Dallas. I live in Valley Ranch, or North Irving. My 'burb is much more conservative, though demographics have shifted markedly over the past 10 years.

The Texas State legislature has had some crazy ideas over the past few sessions. Thankfully, they only meet once every two years.

I doubt this legislation goes anywhere, as the Texas legislature is still majority Republican, by 83-67.

I’ve been checking in with the Univeristy of Pennsyvania from time to time.
They’ve come up with some interesting theories.
The think the introduction of neo nectoid insecticides and the varao mites have an influence on the colony collapse disorder.
Also interesting are the small hive borers. Any info on them?

Good news is, Carpenter bees keep to themselves and are pretty docile. A kinder, gentler form of bumble bee.
