People in the US are not going to suffer if they can't get fresh avocados.

And when auto plants start shutting down?

I don't even like avocados.

And it is the multinationals who were quick to use Mexico and their imported Chinese steel and parts who will be hurting and ultimately making the most noise.

“And when auto plants start shutting down?”

The lobbying groups will be screaming at the Mexicans to put a lid on this crap. So will the auto workers, both union and non-union.

That's the thing about executive orders. Trump can make case-by-case exceptions for things like trainloads of auto parts.

We have our own.

Parts come from all over the world, not just Mexico.

I don’t get that AT ALL. Please explain to me why the President can’t shut down ALL MIGRATION across our southern Border while still allowing Products to proceed thru customs ports?

It’s not like 18 wheelers and Trains full of produce/materials are swimming across the Rio Grande and sneaking in under the fences through tunnels.

As soon as their cafeterias run out of avocados. DUH!

Mexico has 41 sea ports. It wouldn’t be
difficult for the auto industries to ship
100% of vehicles and parts via cargo ships.
40% are currently shipped in this manner.
Meats, cheeses, chocolates, fish, fruits and
vegetables are all transported in refrigerated
containers on ships, all over the globe.
The media is doing what they do best.
