Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives are demanding to know why Fox News did not publish a story prior to the 2016 election about an alleged affair years before between porn star Stormy Daniels and Donald Trump.
House Committee on Oversight and Reform chair Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) wrote to former Fox News reporter Diana Falzone last month demanding that she turn over any documents relating to Trump’s alleged extramarital affairs.
An article in the New Yorker last month alleged that Fox News executive Ken LaCorte spiked the story to protect Trump — a claim LaCorte has vehemently denied, saying the story lacked corroborating evidence and that the network was merely practicing responsible journalism, as were other outlets who declined the story.

FWIW, I think he’s providing cover, trying to make it appear that has FNC hasn’t gone over to the dark side of the Force.
Why isn’t Cummings ready to apply the same “oversight” idea to the boatloads of stories in NY Times, Wash Post, ABCNBCCBSCNNMSNBCPBS that were completely untrue, unsupported, and based on unnamed or anonymous sources?
Like I don’t already know the answer...the last thing blubber butt Cummings cares about is truth in journalism...

Hmm. It looks like Ken LaCorte from Mediaite cannot tell the difference between rhetorical (like Trump’s tweet) and actual questions, and regards speculation as a statement of fact. Not too bright, is he?
Although I would love to see the MSM held accountable for basically acting as mouthpieces for the Democrat party. It is hard to think how that can happen while still respecting the first amendment. Require them to print full disclosures? Or maybe just overturn the laws that protect them from consequences for publishing slander. They should not be able to print lies about political candidates any more than they can print lies about private citizens.

Giuliani keeps threatening to release an 86-page report if the Rats continue down this path. I wonder if Cummings’ name is in it and, if so, I wonder in what context.
AND ... we’re still WAITING on the list of legislators’ names, and their pay-outs of hush money using our tax dollars. Tick tock. We were promised that list a couple years ago.
