Supposedly Steele was paid $166,000 for the dossier. So, Soros paid $4 million... DNC and Hillary paid $12 million (Perkins Coie kept $3 million of it and delivered $9 million to Fusion...)

And they were on contract to the Russians, Steele and Fusion, separately. I haven’t yet heard how much those contracts paid.

Still, it sounds like a lot of money sloshing around for a piece of fiction you could bang out in an afternoon. For me, it smells like money laundering. I want to know where the money ended up, and in whose pockets.
