Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) told President Trump in a conversation Monday that the Senate will not be moving comprehensive health care legislation before the 2020 election, despite the president asking Senate Republicans to do that in a meeting last week.

The plan is; to not have a plan.
All Trump needs to do is repeal Obamas exemptions fo e Congress and the Senate and force them on it. Bye bye platinum plan. You don’t want to change it? You will now! Trump doesn’t need it. Watch Schumer have a heart attack....and no way to pay for it.
That would be my preference but he keeps saying he has a plan to repeal and replace. Now he has to come up with the replacement.
We all know what it is.
Association health plans, selling across state lines, high risk pools...all are free market reforms.
Let the insurers sell "insurance" again, the carriers will bring back good inexpensive policies.
Association health plans, which Trump tried by executive order, were just struck down by a judge. Selling across state lines is worthless when the insurance companies don't want to sell to you. High risk pools would require the states to put up the money and what if they won't?
Congress is great for enacting laws and exempting themselves for them. Like Social Security. We get a pittance and they get to retire on 80% of their salary.
Like penny-ante judges all of a sudden can overrule the President.
Selling across state lines is worthless when the insurance companies don't want to sell to you.
All of them...in the US? Looks like you might just be uninsurable.
High risk pools would require the states to put up the money
Not necessarily, the last thing you want is a state-funded HRP.
and what if they won't?
Most states had one before all this commie-care claptrap happened...even back before the era of HitlaryCare. Bush even offered every state $1 million seed money to get them started.
