ISIS has sex slaves, the result of forced marriages literally at knife-point. True, some of the women are True Believers and true mujahideen, and they of course cannot be considered anything but terrorists, and -- if they are armed --- combatants.
However, to kill without distinction the captive together with her captor, the innocent with the guilty --- to kill indiscriminately --- we have a word for that in English: murder.
And we have a law about murder in our civilization: thou shalt not.

We have neither the time nor the inclination to sort them out. Leave the lot of them to the tender mercies of the Syrians and the Russians. Not one of them should ever be allowed to set foot in America.

I am 1000% opposed to Catholic Charities’ role in this migrant situation, as this FR forum and my own pastor know well. And they do not get my Catholic charitable tuppence.
