paying their “fair share”

Ok, give us a number. What is a “fair share”? Percentage of income, percentage of wealth, flat amount, whatever. Put it down on a piece of paper.

The left will never do that, because if they did, and you agreed to it, they wouldn’t have an excuse to try and steal more money next year.

Here’s a video so everyone can witness what Marxist DemonRATs want to do to the entire country. Seattle Is Dying and it’s thanks to Liberals. This is their model for the USA!

A good way to destroy our economy. Just lower the bar for what you call rich until it reaches worker level.

These tax spending crazies can’t stop dreaming up new lunatic ways to turn the country into Venezuela.

“”I could see them imposing an asset tax, a percentage of your equity account, the way a property tax is already assessed””

That’s a possibility but don’t give them any ideas. Whatever it is, it needs to be something they can’t slither out of themselves...

Insider trading is already legal for Congressmen, so exempting them from asset tax would be expected. I don’t know how much corruption there has to be before they’re corrupt. It’s like asking how many people would OJ Simpson have to kill before he’s a murderer. Certainly more than two.

“”I don’t know how much corruption there has to be before they’re corrupt””

Good thought and ain’t that the truth? Sure does make one wonder when enough is enough!! Boy - do we ever need term limits. Put these bozos out of business - make them go home and earn an honest living but never in lobbying...maybe run a donut shop - anything to keep them out of our hair. We could put a bounty on them maybe????

It is sad. It may take a “heads meet pikes” situation to end this LIB farce. I hope not.

Funny how one branch of govt can term limit another, ain’t it?
And how one branch can vet the hiring of staff by
another while under no such restraint themselves.
And how one branch can leave office with vastly more
money than their salaries could have provided.

America is beyond decadent.

... cost $7trillion over 15 years

True enough, yet somehow Obama managed to increase the deficit by more than twice that amount in less than 8 years...and that is the deficit, not total spending.

“They can’t stand all that money sitting in accounts without a way to get at them.”

Teresa Ghilarducci at New York’s New School for Social Research floated this in 2008.

Some want tax returns to fit on a postcard and others want them to become phone books....the bulkier, the easier to create mayhem and do illegal things for the insiders.
