He probably spoke like this in the jury room and was slapped down for ignoring the facts and data.
Jury deliberated 5 hours. Now appealing because jury held more than 12 hours! The horror. Judge gave jurors case around 4pm I think. Later they asked to see confession again , went to dinner. Then found guilty. They didnt need to see it again.
I’ve been on juries with people like that. Almost everyone on the panel totally ignores them. And when it comes time for a vote the other jurors spell everything out for them. They are incapable of making a reasoned decision.
I was on one where a teacher, yeah a lib, wanted part of testimony read back to her. I actually told her....no, don’t waste our time. You should’ve been awake for it. I had looked over at her and she was sleeping.
I have no patience for idiots.
