As you said, after about 3 and 1/2 years (1,260 days precisely) he will declare himself to be “God” and demand to be worshiped as God. And many, many will believe him.
I daresay most will believe him.

They’re certainly ripe to want a savior, but not a real one. A fake one that will lead them along that alternative path of hopey changey stuff where everyone lives in peace and harmony once everyone else is in jail or dead.
