Not insisting on e-verify or fining employers of illegals is just further evidence that there are two parties in the USA. They are not the Dem and Repubs, but the government and the people. As more and more of our economy is government dependent, whether by contracts, employment, hand-outs or regulations, it becomes more and more difficult to get anything done that benefits non-government dependent tax-paying Americans. The in-crowd doesn’t care what ordinary Americans want, as long as they keep their positions of power, influence and money.
