Exoneration is the correct word - he was exonerated of the accusations against him.
Judicial Watch is awesome - worthy of donations, constant hat-tips, and our respect. They are the only people who match the fight of Trump and what they are doing is terrific.

vindicated
Exonerate: to clear, as of an accusation; free from guilt or blame; exculpate: He was exonerated from the accusation of cheating.
One definition of ‘exonerate’ is to clear from blame.
Meanwhile, here’s a pretty interesting article from The Conservative Treehouse on how the Obama admin was apparently giving itself legal coverage for lying to Trump and others about what they were doing in terms of surveillance, investigations, etc:
He says the way to get around that is to focus on the actions they took to trump up the whole ruse to start with. But if Obama also pardoned them for their involvement in that, I’m not sure how much they wouldn’t supposedly be covered on that end either.
