Richard Spenser and the incident at Charlottesville, VA was street theater and kabuki theater at it’s best that tragically resulted in three unplanned deaths as a consequence.
It was orchestrated by the left and promulgated for propaganda purposes by the “progressives” in Charlottesville including the City Council, Staff at the University, Code Pink members, Liberal progressive activists and Churches, and students who were whipped into a frenzy by their Social Justice Instructors.
This fact is evidenced by any critical viewing of the hours of live event videos, and the historical record as documented by newspaper articles preceding the incident, leftists adds on the internet calling on protesters to gather at the “White Nationalist event” long before the “white nationalists” had even planned let alone applied for a permit to protest. The way back machine (internet) archives prove this.
It originated as protests over the town of Charlottesville and UVA’s attempts to remove statues and monuments from the city by activists at the university that was peacefully protested at first by civil war historians and enthusiasts on numerous occasions over the course of two years before the infamous “white nationalist event” in C’ville.
The battle over the monuments in Charlottesville had been waged in the halls of the City Government, whose mayor - if i’m not mistaken - was a Louis Farrakhan and Nation of Islam follower and by UVa progressive/activist faculty against Civil War Historians, academics and enthusiasts. It’s all in the written, historical record for anyone with a search engine and some skills to see.
This cultural divide was then exploited by activists in the “progressive” Charlotesville community and was escalated to a “white supremacists” and “white nationalist” protest event led by a pied piper ( Spencer etal. ) who one year earlier was a “progressive activist” participating in “Occupy Wall Street” events. There are photgraphs of them not just at the events but as participants. His mom is Jewish, his father is Catholic; Both are from Boston. They contributed heavily to Democrats according to the FEC..
He majored in political science at UVA and then went to Grad
school at Cornell (both bastions of right wing/alt-right activism </sarcasm> ). He ended up, Protesting at “occupy wall street events”.
Sometime later, he supposedly moved to Montana and “led” a white nationalist group that some how showed up in Charlottesville ( home of the University of Virginia and progressive activists and his alma mater) and staged a “torch light march around Charlottesville” conveniently while progressive activist gathered and far outnumbered them with the media in tow to document an event for the cameras. Use google maps in satellite view and look at the street, church and business names surrounding the event. It’s like a little Potemkin village. I kid you not.
The leaders of the “white nationalist” group were Pied Pipers who led poor, stupid, deluded and disenfranchised idiots who were duped into being participants in a staged media event in the lead up to the elections.
Tragically, the event led to the death of three people.
The son of the legislator who introduced this bill and a candidate for the vice president of the United States was arrested, tried and convicted for acts of violence during the inauguration and was associated with the “occupy” and “resist” movement and with Antifa.
and yet, all we’ve heard for two years is allegations about Russians.
I’ve been on this planet for a while. Whenever the Democrats feel threatened, they drag out “the specter of racism”.
I’d bet my next paycheck that a search for the name David Duke, sorted by date, would yield spikes in frequency around the lead up to contested election years.
He however is aging rapidly and the left needs a new boogie man. For the last round of elections, it was the dreaded “White Nationalists”. All 50 - 100 of them.
If progressives and the FBI stopped paying the monthly dues, these organizations would have disappeared decades ago.
The metaphor of a University as a Pied Piper is intentional!
As the story goes, in 1284, townspeople hired a rat catcher to lure away the vermin that had overrun their village. He did, except the citizens of Hamelin cheated the man out of his payment. So the man—a “pied” piper—returned a year later and lured their children away, too.
Consider Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica. With elected rulers, the top dog may be dark but the ruling class around him is lighter than the general population. Look at our own "black" congressmen and mayors. We know they are "black" because they say they are black.

It’s funny and ironic that Kaine would invoke “white supremacy” just as the story of white Joe Biden violating Latina Lucy Flores is breaking.

By pretending to be “down” with the brothers, by introducing this bill, I believe Kaine is doing the political equivalent of wearing “black face”...making him just as bad if not worse than Governor Northam and Virginia’s AG Mark Herring!
