The Left does not comprehend that wealth is fragile: it must be created, and is frequently destroyed.
The Left believes wealth is fixed and durable; it must merely be redistributed (by compulsion if necessary).

The Left think fish just appear on grocery store shelves, pre-cut & pre-wrapped & ready to cook; they think consuming a fish is balanced by just-as-trivial appearance of one on a shelf.
The Left have no comprehension of the enormous effort required to create & maintain a system whereby fish appear on grocery shelves, and how quickly that system can collapse - producing no more ready-to-cook fish. It’s magic, it just happens. As such, they have no interest in learning how to fish - much less teach others to.

Translation....I’m rich enough not to care, nor will I ever be effected by disastrous liberal/progressive policies that I “support” and promote. It is simply, I’m rich, you’re not and I know what’s better for you than you do.
OK I’ll coin a new phrase, unless it’s already been couned: environmental totalitarianism. That’s what the Green New Deal is.
