Nellie Ohr is the wife of DOJ official Bruce Ohr. Mrs. Ohr was hired by Glenn Simpson (Fusion GPS) to conduct opposition research of Donald Trump in late 2015. Nellie Ohr’s work was used by Christopher Steele in assembling a Dossier then shared with the DOJ and FBI to target President Trump. Today, the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, Doug Collins, released the transcript of her testimony

This is probably the path to Harry Reid’s involvement.
Reid probably pulled strings to get these people into the NSA.

> it’s even going to be hard to charge them.

Are you kidding? There’s probably 4 figures worth of laws that these people have broken and can be charged with, up to and including seditious conspiracy and treason. Many of them are extensively on the record as promoters of the conspiracy.

“Are you kidding?”

Not kidding. A Trump supporter with big intelligence experience is warning that it could be very hard to get charges to stick. And this is someone who would love to see Brennan go to prison.

If they were sloppy then maybe we get lucky.

I think we will learn that Steele had little to do with the dossier other than allowing his name to be attached to it, in order to make it appear to be an actual intelligence product.

Nellie Ohr and Glenn Simpson should turn out to be the actual authors.

That is pretty much where I am at. The “dossier” was a product of the obama admin either directly or indirectly through cut outs like Fusion FSB.

Rep Devin Nunes suggested this possibility during an interview several days ago.

The HAM license is smart.

Winlink is a system for transmitting email via radio. There are other like protocols for doing it, but you can do peer to peer email and other types of digital traffic.

You aren’t supposed to encrypt your comms via HF bands using HAM radios, but if you do, almost nobody is going to notice.

I have to believe the NSA has noticed, and took steps to detect, isolate, and analyze traffic via HAM bands.

It won’t be hard if it’s a military court.

Especially if the signals were encrypted around f’ing Washington DC.

If you ever watch one of those Forensic Files type of shows, the perps get caught often when they START doing things they don't normally do.

Like searching for "how to poison someone" on Google.

Or the perps STOP doing things they normally do.

Like not showing up for work the day after someone is killed.

So Nellie just for no reason started using a HAM radio in 2016.

It would be interesting to find out if she is still using the HAM, or suddenly stopped.

Exactly.

You have to file federal paperwork for a license to the FCC. Social security number and all.

There must be some means in FedGov to flag a person and then have any filing in FedGov pop up and signal to someone who cares that this person of interest is doing such things.

Aside from that, traffic on the HAM bands is pretty low on average. Not tough to build an algorithm to pick it up, sample it, and then run it through a pattern matcher to detect encrypted comms. From there its a straight ‘fox hunt’, where you triangulate to find the transmission source.

I guess you can rig a system that would ‘spoof’ a radio signal. If you were to fox hunt that, it would be obvious that the signal you isolated was wired to a box or a computer that transmitted and received messages from some other physical location. Then it would be obvious something was very wrong.

To me it’s pretty clear that Bruce Ohr put his wife up to this! When Meadows was pressing her on how she knew which communications from Simpson were for him or herself, she began to obfuscate pretty hard. No way did she just look Simpson up and ask him for a job! That’s the most glaring of her BS!

Pretty sure military court hasn’t got jurisdiction over these civilian clowns. They would have to be civilian employees of the armed forces, or it would have to be during a martial law situation.

“Rep Devin Nunes suggested this possibility during an interview several days ago.”

Which at this point is probably as good as a confirmation.

There have long been suspicions that Ohr and Simpson were the authors. Ohr has the background to write it and worked for Fusion GPS. Fusion GPS founder Simpson was pushing the Russian influence theme even before Trump entered the picture.

When Steele testified that he couldn’t confirm any of the information in the dossier it was another tell that his role wasn’t a big one.

There’s reason to think that we are seeing it clearly. Glenn Simpson was pushing a “Russian influence” tale in the Wall Street Journal as far back as 2007. Well before Trump would be their target.

Nellie Ohr has the educational background to have helped concoct the dossier, or even write the bulk of it. And she worked for Simpson’s Fusion GPS.

Steele is just one of a number of UK spooks who appear to have ties to this mess. It looks like they were used in order to give a veneer of credibility to the charges that the coup plotters were inventing. The plotters needed this cover in order to fool FISA judges and anyone at FBI and DOJ who weren’t part of the conspiracy.
