The president has no intention of seeing his order overturned. He supports this because he believes in it.
He also publicly castrated the nra with Feinstein in attendance.
Do not attempt to act like this isn’t a big deal or that it’s not really Trump’s doing.
Allowing the president to write brand new law out of thin air poses an existential threat to the republic’s institutional integrity. That’s not hyperbole or exaggeration. It’s cold hard fact.
I hope trump didn’t lose 2020 over this but it’s a very real possibility.
