I don’t think mothballing is the same as “cutting up.” Maybe 25 years is “very young,’ but it also may be technologically obsolete given the pace of advances in tech over those 25 years.

It depends on how much maintenance they will decide to perform,on it during mothballing, as there are several levels they could set it at. The less they do, its that much harder to get it back up to speed quickly.
