Yes. I liked Pat Nixon too. She was a normal person who got caught up in a world she would have been happy to do without.

Thanks. I recall reading somewhere that among White House employees (cooks and other staff who were interviewed and surveyed) that Pat Nixon was their favourite First Lady to work for and those who had that privilege to be at the White House when the Nixons were there were greatly saddened when she had to leave with her husband upon his 1974 resignation.
