Russia evidently likes what Maduro has done to Venezuela. What kind of sickness....

I guess they need another round of ass kicking like we gave them in Syria. We killed more Russian troops in an hour than we did our entire nation’s history combined.

With or without Russia, Venezuela will either collapse under it's own weight of crap or it'll muddle through and be another failed State struggling to keep the wolf from the door.

Venezuela is a major distraction from the real threat to the US which is the Deep State crowd that went after Trump.

Either the US has to get people with the guts to go after the whole illegal conspiracy to deny Trump the Presidency or it's an admission that we have two systems of Justice, one for the Nobles and one for the serfs.

Democrats and the Deep State crowd won't care about admitting that there are two systems of Justice as long as their own butts are saved but if that happens, things in this country are going move onto the thin ice we as a nation were on in the year prior to Fort Sumter.

Screw Venezuela, it's another case of, "Look, Russia !!" being used to keep the corrupt bastards in the DC bubble from ever being thrown out and paying for their crimes.

You'd think that several years of, "Russia, Russia, Russia" being shoved down peoples throats when there was absolutely no evidence of Russian involvement in anything related to the elections would be enough but apparently a lot of people are gullible enough to keep swallowing whatever bait the DC bubble tosses out.

Bottom line, Russia can't afford to keep anyone but themselves afloat even if they wanted to. They'll try and salvage what they can of their investments just like US corporations did with the cooperation of the US government.

Other than that, China is the only country that can afford to bankroll anyone else who is in dire straits and so far they haven't stepped up and shoveled the sort of cash into Venezuela that it would take to salvage much of anything.

Unless and until China pours in several hundred billions of dollars, what anyone else does doesn't make a lot of difference as anything other than a distraction from massive corruption in the US DC bubble and our own US Southern border.

Here's an in depth article on the situation:
Russian Transport Aircraft Deliver Men And Materiel To Venezuela Direct From Syria
The Kremlin's deployment is the strongest signal yet that it plans to do everything in its power to keep Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in power.

The United States typically delivers humanitarian aid to foreign countries using military troops and transports.

How is this any different?

The first thought that crossed my mind was that the Russians may have been sent there as an escort, to get Maduro out of the country before he gets the Mussolini treatment.

This would not be a free service, either, as Maduro has shipped Venezuela’s gold out of the country.

We can hope.
