Even if he did you'll have to wait several years and hope Trump is re-elected before you realize you made a mistake.
BTW, If Trump could "appoint" a special counsel and he "appointed" Adam Schiff or Nadler, or Pelosi, or Schumer to head it, the Democrats would still find fault with it. After all, they all praised Mueller, even worshipped the ground he walks on and now look what they're doing to him.
