The two most important issues in America are:
(1) Massive Legal Immigration - because when you get outvoted in a democracy, nothing else matters.
(2) Insane Government Spending - because when you are broke, nothing else matters.
Trump's record on immigration is a catastrophe. Trump's only quantifiable achievement is reducing the number of refugees from 80,000 to 40,000.
Trump's two budgets have been a catastrophe. His FY2018 budget deficit was $780 billion, even though we had high employment, low interest rates, and no wars. Trump's FY2019 budget deficit is currently on track for $1 trillion.
And, while I'm thinking it about it, Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh is beginning to look a lot like his RINO mentor, Anthony Kennedy.
Kavanaugh, in his first five months, has voted three times with the Supreme Court Leftists.
Bottom Line - if Conservatives do not hold Trump's feet to the political fire, who will?
So take Trumps place and tell me what you would have done differently... Both issues you mention are 100% on congress... Trump has been trying to fund sealing up the border since he took office and corrupt R’s stopped him... Trump’s budget is as dead upon arrival as his previous ones were and he put them out there to show a change in policy and start the conversation of how to turn the spending ship around, this budget shows because they did not act on first two attempts it will now take longer to make up for the damage they are doing. Once again CONGRESS controls the purse strings as Nancy keeps reminding us. Trump is simply trying to get congress to do their damn jobs... Yes spending is the problem, Every quarter I read an article talking about record tax revenues and we are still running deficits... Proof it is a spending problem and again, that is controlled by the house.
I have been saying for about 12-15 years now that is is NOT a Republican/Democrat thing, but that it was Washington that was broken... broken LONG before I realized it and well before Obama came along... Trump has completely put that point on full display and THAT is the primary problem he is working on, fixing Washington DC and saving our constitutional republic... That is problem #1 in my book and in hindsight, has been most of my adult life now, I fully believed our Republic was lost when Obama was elected to a second term because the “deep state” agenda advanced SO fast under him and thankfully I have been proven wrong on that point.
Bottom line is Trump has accomplished so much in two years that I never believed remotely possible 4 years ago, starting with beating Hillary, that I just have to trust him to keep it going. In the mean time I will just enjoy the show and support him however I can. He has beat career politicians like a drum for 3 years now, they have NO idea how to even try to counter him. Everything he has done has been to highlight congress NOT doing what is in America’s best interest and trying to get the American people to call their reps and take that control back that is supposed to be ours... He tweaks lefties continually and both the left and right hate him so he must be doing something right! What he will do is bring some accountability back in the end, by the time Trump is out of office in another 5 1/2 years, All I can say is both of your most important issues will be a thing of the past, I know you don’t think so, but only way we get to see who is right is wait and watch...
As far as Kavanaugh goes, were his votes against the constitution?? Sorry left or right should not be a factor as long as it is with the constitution...
