Strategic distraction.

As you may or may not know, major corporations will interview the spouse (alone and together) of a potential key employee before making a hiring decision. The reason should be obvious - a spouse that objects to required travel time or long hours, or a bad home life eventually translates into poor job performance, inability to concentrate, etc.
Again, she should either resign for the good of the Administration, and thereby us, or shut her husband up.

One part of me thinks this is all a game to all three of them to keep Pres Trump’s critics busy.
The other part of me thinks her beloved is serious in his comments and as that doesn’t give her grounds for a divorce, she lets him rant and rave and she keeps doing her job.
I think if it’s the first, it’s a great plan.
If it’s the second, it shows she’s strong minded in her beliefs and I’m glad she’s on our side and Pres Trump has faith in her abilities. He lets her handle the heat, knowing he can still poke the bear (her beloved) with the stick via twitter.
No one disputes that; it is a matter of record.
However, only one question matters: are we closer to tyranny, or getting further away from it?
Are we more free or less free?

Maybe so but Trump is Trump and is hard-coded to respond to any and all attacks — petty or not. The base loves it and the rest of the nation just shakes their head.
The left know they can easily trigger Trump. So some husband of a Trump advisor starts taunting him and Trump is down in the weeds falling for it. Trump is going to do what he does and no one can change it. Just enjoy the show for the next few years.

Yes, that is exactly what we needed and voted for (i.e., someone who wouldnt be a punching bag for the Left and their allies in the media). Trump has exceeded our expectations in that regard. He does not suffer fools and harsh critics.
That said the attacks wont cease just because he strikes back. He cannot respond to every attack by everyone. This is a drain on his time and energy. He is dealing with the monumental mess left to him by previous administrations and he doesnt need trifling distractions.
As you said, he needs to defend Americas interests. That is a consuming job that requires sharp focus and attention. Getting down into the weeds with the insects isnt going to help him address the big problems.
CEOs dont get in arguments with the guys in the company mail room. I respect your opinion but have a different take on who he should be fighting with in public. He is more effective when he targets people in the media, Democrat politicians, and even RINOs in his own party. Just my humble opinion.

From someone complaining about the president behaving in an “unbecoming” manner, calling for this “public drama” to stop, and even advocating giving the left what they want (namely another Trump staff resignation), the responses to criticism being posted make the one who posted them appear quite hypocritical.
Wrongheaded ideas need to be shot down. And people who post them should take time to reflect why so MANY people critique them instead of posting knee-jerk responses with derisive and demeaning attacks.

From someone who posts a Christian tagline I expected more.
It is very shameful and dishonest to pretend to engage in dialogue on a forum and then make one-sided posts that do not address questions asked. That’s not a conversation. That’s not a dialogue. That’s just trolling. Those who treat this forum as a soap box to listen to themselves talk and never actually engage in listening to what others have to say do not deserve to be able to post on it.
I asked if you, as a Christian, have a problem with Christ’s public condemnation of wicked men by calling them “white washed,” “hypocrites,” and “children of the Devil”?
If not, why do you have a problem with the president calling out wicked people for being wicked?
How many times have we heard that we will never have manufacturing jobs, or anything but a shortage of oil? How many times have we heard the elites tell us we will end up in service jobs, as manufacturing moves to other countries? How many times have we heard negative comments about conservatives and Republicans and nobody in Washington fought back?
We've got the guy that fights back in the White House right now. As you noted, some people just can't handle us winning instead of losing. (And I suspect that includes a lot of Republican elected officials at the federal level.)
