You can’t rely on anti-Trump “moderates”/Republicans to do any digging. They wanted the GOP to lose as many House and Senate races as possible because it would hurt Trump, so of course they weren’t going to come out with anything on Beto in 2018. Expect a repeat leading up to 2020. All the bad stuff on Dems will come from either the Dems themselves (primaries) or real right-wing activists.
