As a former officer in a half-billion $ corporation reporting directly to the Chairman on all M&A projects, I fully understand the bottom line.

However...

One MUST acknowledge we are NOW in CW2 and “bottom lines” at leftist organizations are sacrificed to win the war.

I do buy into the fact that there are a lot of powerful forces mostly working in the shadows going fringe, but I am still not on board with CW2. But like I said, it would be crazy for fox to abandon their golden goose, so if they swing left, I it will be a very bad warning sign indicating that you may be more right than I think

Yes, your point is well taken. Corporate executives don’t always make logical, business driven decisions. They are often influenced by other things such as a misguided desire to do trendy things, their own outsized ego’s, and especially in today’s world, ideological views. Improving the bottom line is not always the key factor.
