Beto O'Rourke acknowledges 'privileges' afforded to him because of race and gender
On an Iowa presidential campaign swing, O'Rourke praised the diversity of the large Democratic field.

WASHINGTON Former Rep. Beto ORourke said that hes been afforded privileges in his life because of his race and gender but insisted that his presidential bid can be used as a way to level the playing field for all Americans.
As a white man who has had privileges that others could not depend on, or take for granted, I've clearly had advantages over the course of my life, ORourke told "Meet the Press" moderator Chuck Todd during a campaign swing through Iowa on Saturday.
I think recognizing that and understanding that others have not doing everything I can to ensure that there is opportunity and the possibility for advancement and advantage for everyone is a big part of this campaign and a big part of the people who comprise this campaign.
O'Rourke, a Democrat from Texas, addressed the question in light of some criticism that he has benefited from a double standard in the early days of campaigning, given the large amount of attention his entry into the crowded field has received.
The former congressman went on to praise his fellow Democratic presidential hopefuls as part of the best field that we've ever seen in the nominating process, calling the diversity of background, and experience, expertise a key asset for Democrats.

Then he needs to step down to give the less privileged a chance. Enough hogging.
In his case, I would agree. Hes certain not not smart enough to get this far on merit.
His only privilege is the wealth of his parents and his father-in-law.
What a cuck.
White skin, being able to pee standing up, and a billionaire father in law...yep lifes trifecta
What total horse sh*t !

But we were told that Hillary was the best qualified person ever to run for president.
And in the 2008 primary battle between Obama and Hillary, we were told the Democrats had “an embarrassment of riches” with two fine candidates running.
So now he’s calling his ‘beto’ beta Mexican heritage privilege white ? Interesting.
Has more to do with his family and his wife are loaded..than being white.
Obama wasn’t privileged (cough cough) plus he didn’t work a real job in his life and he became el presidente...twice.

This concept is not a new Democrat idea. This has been talked about for many years. My question is — why didn’t any of this alleged problem, get resolved when the icon Obama was president?????

A clinical psychologist would have a field day with Betos online postings when he was a member of a culrish hacker group. One article he wrote as a teen mused how the world would work without money. After changing the system, including the government, ORourke foresaw the end of starvation and class distinctions.
To achieve a money-less society (or have a society where money is heavily de-emphasized) a lot of things would have to change, including government as we know it. This is where the anti-money group and the disciples of Anarchy meet, ORourke wrote under his pseudonym. I fear we will always have a system of government, one way or another, so we would have to use other means other than totally toppling the government (I dont think the masses would support such a radical move at this time).
Another t-file from ORourke, written when he was 15, is a short and disturbing piece of fiction. One day, as I was driving home from work, I noticed two children crossing the street. They were happy, happy to be free from their troubles . This happiness was mine by right. I had earned it in my dreams.
As I neared the young ones, I put all my weight on my right foot, keeping the accelerator pedal on the floor until I heard the crashing of the two children on the hood, and then the sharp cry of pain from one of the two. I was so fascinated for a moment, that when after I had stopped my vehicle, I just sat in a daze, sweet visions filling my head.
A 15-year-old daydreaming about a “moneyless society” is pretty common. But “sweet visions filling my head” after running over a couple of “happy happy” kids with his car is definitely not common. I have to ask it: what do you think the reaction would have been if a Republican candidate had written that? Every amateur Democratic mental health professional would declare the candidate unfit for office.
But for Beto? His apology suffices:
Im mortified to read it now, incredibly embarrassed, but I have to take ownership of my words, the Democratic presidential candidate said during a taping of the Political Party Live podcast in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Whatever my intention was as a teenager doesnt matter, I have to look long and hard at my actions, at the language I have used, and I have to constantly try to do better.
If only Republicans had it so easy.
“because of race and gender”

Which gender would that be?

Politico Writer Labels Beto O'Rourke a 'Semigogue'

At the very least, the Beto O'Rourke candidacy for president is certain to be the inspiration for a lot of humor. Abe Greenwald of Commentary magazine already labeled him as the Seinfeld candidate and that it is a "Campaign About Nothing, Not that there's anything wrong with that." No, nothing wrong with that as long as Beto doesn't turn into a demagogue. The good news is that Jack Shafer, the Politico senior media writer, assures us that is unlikely. The reason, Shafer asserted on Thursday, is that O'Rourke is probably what he calls a "semigogue" in "The Semigoguery of Beto ORourke." (Excerpt) Read more at newsbusters.org ...

CONCLUSION He's a "semigogue" with clean teeth, a credit card fraudster,
a software pirate, a (gag) Poet, punk rocker, skateboarder, keeps his teeth clean, and hoists one too many.
Drunk driving mug shot................................... Punk rocker looking pretty in floral print dress. <
BETO SLAPPED DOWN after he told Vanity Fair he was born to run for president.
Lefties say he "reeks of white male privilege." more at breitbart.com .
He instagrammed this over the net.
His chief political asset (he thinks).......he looks like Robert Kennedy.
I guess that’s why he became a fake Mexican. He wants to be president but doesn’t think whitey should have the presidency anymore. He figures it’s time for a Mexican el presidente.
HE’S OUT OF WORK AND OWES BACK TAXES
Both O’Rourke and his wife Amy are independently wealthy. Amy’s father, Bill Sanders, is a renowned real estate giant with an estimated net worth of $500 million, according to Forbes.
Vanity Fair reported that O’Rourke’s mother gave him partial ownership over the furniture store she once owned, which closed in 2010 after it was fined for alleged tax fraud a charge denied by both O’Rourke and his mother. The magazine said O’Rourke’s net worth is around $9 million.
He had privilege because of who his parents are.Does he plan on denying his children privilege because they are white?
How much of that white privilege came via the Kennedy clan?
While it is a certainty that no woman would get away with being aa flapping fool like this guy, it is not at all a certainty that he’s going to get away with that and his grandiose and all-encompassing pronouncements either.
Carry that water, Francis!
