Bernie Sanders didn't hold back on what he thinks of Donald Trump. The Democratic presidential candidate, speaking before an audience of a few thousand supporters gathered in a conference center here, called Trump "the most dangerous president in American history." Sanders said Trump "simply does not know the difference between truth and lies." And Sanders called Trump's criticism of the media "beyond disgraceful." "This is what demagogues always do," Sanders said, near the end of a six-minute attack last week focused exclusively on Trump. "Rather than accept responsibility for what they do, they claim what anyone is saying about them is a lie." This blunt criticism of the man he hopes to unseat has become a staple of Sanders' message in the opening weeks of his 2020 campaign. The Vermont senator has embraced taking the president on directly, frequently mentioning him by name on the trail, contrasting their mutual upbringings in a campaign video, and even having his advisers explicitly detail how he'd beat Trump in a general election.

Sanders will be a formidable primary candidate and I think he has a real shot. First, by taking it to Trump he gain support among the anti-Trump crowd. He can simply parrot the narrative of the MSM - Trump lies, etc etc, and with his preexisting base of support from the last election he is in the pole position for the nomination.
However, he will be a horrible general election candidate and he faces a crowded primary of “like candidates”, another advantage. He will continue to pull them towards socialism - a concept that won’t play well in the election. It will be insightful to see how the DNC treats him this time.
Authentic my you know what. The man preaches what he does not live. Not to mention a corrupt wife and more than one houses. Complete fraud.

Sanders made the usual socialist comments about how the USA is the only advanced country that does not have health care for all.

What a laugh! Coming from a man who has never done an honest day’s work in his life, dodged the draft and got a woman pregnant to keep himself out of the military, honeymooned with the cow to whom he is currently married in Moscow and who watched from the sidelines as that wife successfully bankrupted the small Vermont college where she was president (and has seemingly gotten away without being prosecuted). If BS were music, Sanders would be a one-man band!

But the even bigger problem we face is the number of US voters who actually believe what the guy has to say. Personally, I attribute it almost totally to our “public education system.” The PES has managed to do a very good job of selling our young on the “concept” of “free $hit for everyone, because it’s other people’s money!”
