No, it's not, because you're putting the brackets around the wrong structure. You're ignoring the conjunction "and." From your citation from the home page:

To me, the focus is on the discussion, not simply a news aggregation site. I can go to another site, but I can't engage the people here in discussing what I read at that site. I can't formulate arguments, if I can't test them out with others here.
You'll notice the reference to "We do not want our pages filled with their arrogant, obnoxious, repugnant bile." I'd argue that an article like this one from their site is not "liberal obnoxious bile," but rather a signal of a mood switch coming from their side. That makes this kind of article germane to our discussion focus, falling into the "more or less" qualifier, in my opinion.
I can live with our differences of opinion. This isn't a debate I care strongly about. I simply expressed my opinion that I don't mind sea-change articles from liberal sites. I accept that you take a harder line than I do.
I think we can still peaceably assemble here.
