Yeah, I’d say teenagers shouldn’t vote, precisely because they’re silly (spoken as an ex-teenager as are we all...)
16 is ridiculous. 18 is pushing it in my opinion. Frankly I wouldn’t mind seeing the voting age raised to 21 or even 30.
I mean, you really do get smarter with age. More experience equals more understanding and more perspective on things. There’s just no doubt about it.
If the goal is to improve the quality of the vote, raise the voting age.
