A ludicrous analogy. First, there’s a big difference between them voting for an AG which almost always gives deference to a presidents pick unless the guys an axe murderer. Hasn’t been the case for a SCOTUS nominee in decades.

Second, Barr has a clean record and is a by the book kinda guy which makes him a very difficult target....then or now.
The silly stuff the Dems brought up this time to try and derail him was nonsensical and ended up making them look bad.

2017 - Senator Jeff Sessions - 47 “NO” votes

2018 - Acting A.G. Matthew Whitaker - multiple lawsuits to remove him from office

2001 - Senator John Ashcroft - 42 “NO” votes

1981 - Edwin Meese - 13 months to get confirmed - 31 “NO” votes

1991 - William Barr - Voice vote - no recorded "NO" votes

My list is just from memory - there are definitely more.
