Forgive me for being revolted by so-called conservatives approving of mass murder.
Apathy towards this most likely, which was caused by the one sided approach towards Islam. Allowing Muslims not to follow the same laws, given special protection or status, no push to have them assimilate all the while telling the other side they are intolerant towards their new neighbors has lead to this.
I'm surprised this hasn't happen in the UK. The Rotherham scandal is just appalling and yet very little has been done and those who have spoken out about it are the ones vilified.
