24/7 Cable OPINION News is responsible for the vast majority of all the hate and division between Americans today. Cable channels like CNN, MSNBC and even FNC dedicate 90 to 100 percent of their air time to opinion news not straight news, like in the old days when Americans only had the three (albeit biased) network newscasts, NBC, CBS and the newcomer ABC.

FNC manages to devote almost 1 entire hour to straight news at the 6 o’clock hour Eastern, but sadly at the 45 minute mark, the newsman, Bret Baier brings in a panel of 3 assorted journalists to offer their “opinions” on various topics that headlined the news!

I now watch OANN, which only devotes 2 hours daily Monday - Friday to “Opinion News Shows” - The Ledger, with Graham Ledger and Tipping Point with Liz Wheeler!

Nailed it. When the opinions begin to all be the same then the outfit becomes overly partisan. Be wonderful to just go back to reporting the facts with as much veracity as possible, and not give the jabbering opinions about it
