WASHINGTON, D.C. Today, U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) released the following statement after voting to disapprove of the national emergency declaration regarding the border:
I stand with President Trump on the need for a border wall and stronger border security, but the Constitution clearly states that money cannot be spent unless Congress has passed a law to do so.
On March 4, 2019, Dr. Paul introduced the Border Enforcement, Security, And Funding Enhancement (BE SAFE) Act as a constitutional, fiscally responsible alternative. The BE SAFE Act would impose a $2,500 border security fee on each new green card issued to fund the construction of new border walls or physical barriers and other immigration-related improvements. The bill also directs U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) to deposit all fees paid under the BE SAFE Act into a new Border Security Enhancement Fund at the U.S. Treasury. Only the president would be authorized to use the Fund for certain immigration-related purposes.
You can read the BE SAFE Act below:

Senator, did you write a law that allowed Obama to send two planes filled with tax dollars to Iran? Hypocrite!!!
“We are supposed to have principles and this time it is a border wall, “
Swear to Christ you muppets are dumber than dirt!
Big mouths today, sniveling cowards when Obama was president. Where was this clown and the rest of you when we had national emergencies declared for crap that didnt even involve this nation directly? I didnt see the vast Rand Paul army doing anything then! So spare me the exaggerated prowess of his voting bloc.
You presume to know what i was thinking?
And insults, nice. Enjoy your inflated sense of omniscience
And just so you know, i and most of my friends and associates were madder than hell and doing everything er could to stop it.
Just because i agree with a constitutional principle does not mean we were ever willing to give the Kenyan a pass on anything
Anyway as i stated before, i may not be a tough guy on a message board but i have and will raise more money and votes for our president than you could in 20 lifetimes
Good point. That’s the dirty little secret about libertarians. When it comes right down to it they’re against national sovereignty. I like to call libertarianism, anarchist-lite.
“And just so you know, i and most of my friends and associates were madder than hell and doing everything er could to stop it.”
LOL!!!!!
Yeah, ok. Did old Rand put out a bad ass press release?
Amazing how you vaulted “principals” didnt buy you any power against people that aren’t as impressed with you as you seem to be.
Congress has GAILED MISERABLY for decades Paul. Go pound sand. Trump is trying to make it happen and you and the rest of the pukes are once again trying to make some mentally retarded political statement.
Sorry Rand, nothing you say appeases me. You sided with the Marxist RAT enemies and GOP Elites against We The People and our safety!
This GOP Elite can be reached at: 202-224-3121 along with the other 11 GOP Elite pukes.
The Communists are further reproached for desiring to abolish countries and nationality. This principle? From the Manifesto?
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened), against domestic violence.Trump is obviously upholding the Constitution on this vital matter, whereas the libertarian in question opposes it.
Thats exactly what I would say to him in person!
:)
LOL!
Yeah - I went to his comment on twitter and told him: “Ummm - the Congress already said the money could be spent or it wouldn’t be sitting there...when the Congress controls every penny, it seems that many of those pennies get diverted by the same congress and wasted..but try to use the money properly and you balk...don’t be a prig.”
The clauses in Article 2 with respect to being CIC of the armed forces and with respect to faithful execution of the laws are quite clear.
Imagine twelve million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers. Some of us havent forgotten the real nature and real agenda of this man (loosely termed).
Paul = Nitwit
