Andrew Weissmann will leave to teach at New York University while working on various public service projects and preventing wrongful convictionsJust in time for NYU's summer semester?
This sounds kinda like the "leaving to spend more time with his family" line. "Preventing wrongful convictions"? Considering the guy's history, somebody has a sick sense of humor.
William Barr was confirmed as Attorney General on February 14, 2019. Odd coincidence.
I imagine Weissmann knows a lot about "wrongful convictions.” Just ask the folks at Enron and Arthur Anderson. Oh, that's right, you can't ask since neither company exists any longer.
