Confirmed: Mueller seeking subpoena, contempt citation against foreign corporation
Fox News ^ | March 13 2019 | Gregg Re, Bill Mears

Posted on 03/14/2019 12:14:07 AM PDT by knighthawk

Documents filed with the Supreme Court and unsealed on Wednesday revealed definitively, and for the first time, that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is the party seeking a grand jury subpoena and subsequent contempt citation against an unnamed, government-controlled foreign corporation that has resisted prosecutors' efforts at every turn.

Fox News has previously reported on strong indications that Mueller’s office was behind the case, although neither his office nor lawyers for the unnamed overseas company would provide confirmation.

The proceedings are believed to be linked to attempts by Mueller's team to secure information to present to an empaneled grand jury in the special counsel's Russia investigation. Mueller is looking into not only whether members of President Trump's inner circle improperly colluded with Russia, but also a range of other matters pertaining to foreign activities by high-ranking Americans.

My bet is Deutsche Bank. The NY Attorney General tried to investigate Trump's relationship to this bank and the Bank's relationship to Russian investor laundering money. It all seems to cute now that Mannaford has plead guilty to and has just been charged by NY.

My bet is they will go after the company that tried to spread social media messages for the campaign and since they are a Russian company and won’t respond... Mueller will use this as his escape...saying that he would convict them...but Russia won’t cooperate since they are in collusion with Trump.

Such a cop out.

DID MUELLER GIVE THESE INDIVIDUALS A "DEFENSIVE BRIEFING?"----
The "defensive briefing" is a government intel procedure, a way to protect US interests
and American citizens, particularly presidential candidates, elected officials, even U.S. businesses,
that have been unwittingly approached by foreign actors with nefarious motives attempting
to gain trust and befriend those in positions of power and influence.

There’s two mortgages between Trump and Deutsche Bank. The first one (going back to 2005) was set to Trump putting up $40 million as his colateral, with Deutsche Bank providing $640 million, to build a resort hotel. The timing of this deal to complete (2008) occurred in the downward economy, and the project simply couldn’t sell. Deutsche Bank wanted that $40-million of Trumps as pay-off. He refused, and instead....took Deutsche Bank to court (suing for $3-billion). His logic was that their bumbling in the market, helped to create the downward economy. Amusingly enough, about 12 months go by and they reach some kind of agreement. It doesn’t appear that they took a penny of the $40-million in colateral, and that they actually helped to refinance another loan deal.

I think what Mueller wants to know....why the court case shut down, and what exactly did Deutsche Bank walk away with? If they didn’t get the $40-million in colateral...why?

Deutsche Bank will consider all conversations between them and a customer to be private. It’s possible that Mueller opens this up and Deutsche Bank might not only mention Trump’s deal, but deals with various Democrats as well.

You are correct. It should be noted that when one Russian enity that Muller went up against actually showed up in court after indictment, Muller dropped the case.

Mueller represents the loss of our democratic freedoms and the disenfranchisement of all American voters, not just Trump voters, and the end of the historic American system of government. Yes, all of that. As long as he is roaming free, we know there will be no wall and no real change in our country’s trajectory. It simply means that the bad guys are still in charge even though we elected a president. They are the ones still running the country.

My bet is Deutsche Bank.

Agreed. There's been a lot of stuff going on since last October, with Deutsche Bank and with Wikileaks. A swiss court absolved the guy who gave the 2 disks of wealthy account holders to Assange, and then 2 Assange lawyers and one advisor all died suddenly.

A secret court is now (this week) trying new efforts to nail Assange, and they're even squeezing Manning to help get to Assange.

It all smells to me like the swamp (using Mueller and other assets) is desperate to finally plug the leak on that bank. Remember Hillary's speech at/for Deutsche Bank?

My bet is Deutsche Bank.

That would have been my guess, too, but the article says "government-controlled". I don't believe the German government has any stake in Deutsche Bank...although they have been trying to strong arm their way in by encouraging Deutsche Bank to merge with Commerzbank, of which Germany owns 15%.

Detusche Bank is a publicly held corporation. The article specifically says the corporation being subpoenaed is “owned” by a foreign government. That would significantly limit the possible countries, since most governments don’t own corporations.
