Right click on the time bar at the time you want.

It will say “copy URL at current time”. If you miss by a few seconds, add or subtract the desired number of seconds.

When you are on a youtube video and at the part you want, simply pause it. Then right click on the video itself and a bunch of options will come up. One will be to copy the video’s url and another will be to copy it at that particular time point.

When you cut and paste the latter into a thread and people click on the link, the video will start at that time point.

It’s pretty slick.
