Unfortunately, we use to be able to trust the Federal Government to do what’s right. NOW DAYS, with the remnant renegades of Obama still in deep bureaucracy positions in DOJ and the FBI, we can’t believe what they say ergo we can’t really know if Manafort deserves what he’s getting or not. Obama, Lynch, Holder, Sessions, Strock, Page, Comey, Amy the Judge Berman, the Democratic Party and the MSM have destroyed Americas trust in the DOJ/FBI for a Century.

I think it unlikely that President Trump will pardon anyone until after he wins his 2nd election. Post-2020, I wouldn't be surprised to see a slew of pardons and a President on the offensive like we've never seen.
