She looks like she could be a linebacker to go with tennis star.
One rule for the public, another rule for the elite.

That’s a well established principle in this country now. Laws for thee, but not for me.
This is what happens when justice is ‘managed’ by a massive and corrupt political bureaucracy.
I’m working in the operating room today and the heart surgeon and his assistant both said they would do exactly the same thing. Because the over the lifetime earnings would be worth it.
I was shocked but I guess I shouldn’t have been.
If AOC is an example of what BU is churning out, why on erf would you let your daughter go there???
Since they turn out the likes of AOC, why would you want to send your kid there?...................
Next step: just buy degrees outright... $5mil for a bachelors, $6mil for a masters, $10mil for a PhD, right from the comfort of your own living room.
Probably not based on the money involved putting these spoiled brats into these schools.
Take back the education system in America!
That's true. And I don't really have much of an issue with that. If a wealthy person offers to fund a program for a year or years, or build a research center, that's a pretty good trade-off for admitting the child.
The big issue, IMO, is the tax fraud. That hurts everyone.
I'm curious about the test-taking fraud. I thought you had to show photo ID to take the test. If so, the kids would have had to given their IDs to the ringers, which would make them active participants in the fraud. It would seem like the head of all this must have a large pool of smart test-takers to choose from to find look-alikes.
I'm also interested to know whether anyone reported this guy over the years. Did he approach coaches who turned him down?
Hypocrisy. The wealthy elites tell us we must ensure that everyone has a decent job, a decent place to live and a free college education. But, unless you are at the top of the heap -because you have a pretty face and can memorize lines, or because you have made a lot of money in the market - the good life they promise has strings. The decent job may be gardening or housekeeping, the place decent place to live cannot be in certain “exclusive” neighborhoods, and the free education cannot be in the top tier schools since those seats are reserved for the children of the elite. That most of these children have neither the intellectual capacity nor the athletic prowess to earn a spot on merit is irrelevant. These children are our future and must be prepared to take on the mantle of leadership.
You mean, ask the college to give back the money after they stole it, fair and square??? :)
Because the over the lifetime earnings would be worth it.

That may be true, but it appears their views are only from one perspective: financial gain. Dangeously simplistic if you ask me, especially since it sets a terrible precedent for their children’s development and journey through life.
There are other ethical and practical considerations to weigh. For example, what does this teach their children about earning things, respecting rules in life, and dealing in good faith with others?
I’m sure you see and probably share my point. Cheating is a multi-dimension thing. It may serve to advance your narrow interest in the short run but at what other broader costs in the long run?
“...I’m curious about the test-taking fraud. I thought you had to show photo ID to take the test. ..”
Yeah I like to hear more about that. When my daughter took her SATs it was pretty well policed. Not at all like when I took it. Back then I could have been anybody sitting at that desk.
Has any of these cheaters been expelled? Shows how once one gets into college even an elite institution one needs to work to actually flunk out.
That was my first thought as well but I heard this morning it seems most elite colleges no longer do grades. It is a simple pass or fail and no one fails.
So as long as you pay your tuition you are guaranteed of a degree in four years.
Perhaps someone with more information could confirm or deny.
It also explains a lot of people around me, but they likely used test and assignment banks from their frats.
Too many stupid people.
Wonder if Obama wrote letters of recommendation for any of them.
And if he did, what did Obama charge for the service?
just buy degrees outright...

It appears that’s just what AOC did. And it helped get her a seat in congress to boot!
This has been the case for decades.
Ted Kennedy...I rest my case.
The students should be expelled, at the very least, if someone else showed up to take the tests for them.
Just say no to college. I’ve done well so far without it. People my age have emerged from college in worse shape than they went in. Some became appallingly stupid. Some acquired rap sheets instead of diplomas. Nearly all got crippling debt.
